We are very proud of our office and the high level of specialty and general care we provide.  We believe that each and every patient coming to our office is entitled to receive the best possible treatment, provided in a kind, compassionate and gentle manner.  In order to achieve this, there must be a degree of trust and respect between our office and our patients.  The following principles reflect and support our view, and are in place to ensure that the two of us, working together, are able to achieve our goals.

Commitment to Treatment

In order to provide predictable treatment outcomes, all treatment begun should be completed as planned, and in a timely manner.  Incomplete treatment leads to complications, misunderstandings, possible loss of teeth and further disease.  Therefore once begun, all agreed to treatments are to be completed in a reasonable amount of time.  Some treatment plans, because of their design and the level of difficulty, may take several months to complete.  Therefore your commitment to treatment is expected, and will allow us to help you attain your treatment goals.

Commitment to Appointment(s)

We reserve time for each patient in our practice and rarely do we keep our patients waiting.  An appointment written in our schedule is a bond of trust that we will be here to serve you, and you will be present for that appointment.  We will respect your time, and ask that you attend your scheduled visits and arrive on time.  We realize that occasionally emergencies arise for both the office and our patients. On those occasions, we will be as accommodating as possible and would hope for the same in return. Repeated cancellations indicate a lack of commitment to your treatment, as well as a lack of respect for our time and the time of our other patients.  Please contact our office at least 48 hours in advance if you have to change an appointment, cancellations less than 48 hours before a scheduled visit could incur a fee of $25.00.

Commitment to Financial Agreement

We believe that we have a responsibility to use our best professional care, skill and

judgment in planning and managing your dental care.  The benefits of treatment and liabilities of neglect are explained to you at your Treatment Planning appointment, as well as throughout your care.  All fees will be thoroughly explained and discussed with you before treatment is initiated. We expect our patients to fulfill their financial obligations promptly and completely. We are unable to fulfill our mission to provide high level specialty care when this bond of trust is violated by a failure to pay for services.
